Fresh local asparagus, cleaned, trimmed and chopped.  All the work done for you!  Grind them up for powder to use as a thickener in smoothies, soups and stews, or rehydrate and use just like fresh.

APPROXIMATE CONVERSION:  1 lb fresh = 3 cups chopped fresh  = 1/2 c dried = 35 g dried
